About

This portfolio website is a personal project where I designed and built the entire site from scratch, utilizing a mix of generative AI, self-study, and hands-on development. Leveraging tools like V0, ChatGPT, Figma, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and FreeCodeCamp, I created a site that showcases my ability to integrate high-end technologies to deliver a polished, functional website.

Challenges

  1. Learning Next.js & Tailwind CSS - Started with no experience in React and Next.js, I had to quickly pick up the fundamentals while applying them.
  2. Working with V0's Free Plan - With limited messages in a free account, I had to write precise prompts to generate right code. I also Leveraged ChatGPT to refine prompts and manually edited the code.
  3. Basic Figma Features - Without developer mode in a free account, I used Figma mainly for layout ideas and manually adjusted the code for accuracy.

Planning

Created a roadmap with milestones to plan and track progress.

Design

Designed UI layouts in Figma to clarify requirements before coding.

Development

Generated code with V0 and manually refined it to match the vision.

Innovation

Worked around tool limitations using creative solutions with V0, Figma, and ChatGPT.
