About

Itwin Project Center is a localized version of Bentley Systems’ iTwin Platform, tailored specifically for the Chinese market. While the original iTwin Platform is built on Microsoft Azure, IPC is developed using Ali Cloud, making this both a localization and a cloud migration project. The platform enables users to create, visualize, and analyze digital twin assets, offering robust APIs to support application development and efficient collaboration on infrastructure digital twins.

Challenges

Scalability Concerns - Building a system capable of handling growing volumes of data and users without sacrificing performance.
Cloud Migration & Localization - Replacing Azure services with Ali Cloud alternatives to replicate core functionalities while ensuring compatibility and performance.
